Halloween

WOW, it's been a while.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN. Hope everyone enjoys their day. We will be spending the afternoon/evening with friends going to a little Carnival in Mt Lake Terrace and then off for trick or treating. Should be a fun night.

For a little update on my family. Kendra turned 7 in September and is doing SO well in school. I just went to her parent/teacher conference and all was good news. Brody just turned 6 and he LOVES school, which I was VERY nervous about. I thought it would be a big crisis. But, nope he pretty much was like "bye mom" Had his parent/teacher conference too and all is well. Except, I told his dad about it HOPING he didnt want to drive up here and go to it. Well, he did and embarassed me with his grumpy negative attitude in front of Brody's teacher. Then, there is our little Baylee Boo....wow she is growing and changing all the time. She has the cutest personality and makes me smile and laugh every day! Last but not least, Bill and I got married on 7-8-09. We are so happy and living life to the fullest everyday!!!!

Another day in the Torset-Roark house

Nothing special to post today. Just seems like I should be posting more often. Bill's work has been SUPER slow so we are hoping for that to pick up SOON! Brody, well he has recently done this regression thing due to baby baylee. Every morning I get them up for school & I pick out his outfit & dress him....I thought he was too old for this behavior, but then someone brought to my attention that when he is at his dad's, Brody has the attention from everyone and home he has to share. He is doing well in "jr. Kindergarten" As for Kendra (my stepdaughter) she is still loving Kindergarten and REALLY wants to go full day....yeah before enrolling her I checked into the price of full day kindergarten.....uhhmmmmm.....about 300.00 PER MONTH!!!! Can you believe that? WOW....her and Brody will both be waiting until first grade to go full day, unless I come into a lot of money;) As for my baylee boo, she is 11 months....OMG, where did this last year go....I cannot believe we will be celebrating her first birthday in ONE month. So exciting, yet a little sad for momma. And as for me, just taking one day at a time along with the baby mama drama that I HAVE to deal with since we have my stepdaughter full custody now....wow the drama NEVER ends. I am also so glad to see how many people I know that have bloggers. These are great!

First blog - just to say hello

I want to say hello to all my friends & family that want to follow my blogs. This is something I have wanted to do since one of my friends showed me a couple years ago. Well, here I am. Enjoying some quiet time (my time from about 9pm to 11/12 every night) Don't get me wrong I LOVE my man and our babies. I am SO glad to be back in my routine....ie....holidays over, kids back to school, "routine" back to normal. I have learned in the past 2 years that I now am able to tell someone exactly how I feel. I used to be the one who held everything in until I was sick....Well, the past almost 3 years now, I have gone through 2 pretty big deals and learned that I need to stick up for myself and not be "walked on" any longer. So, thats who I am today. (not sure my point it that statement, except that this blog is going to help me continue doing that. This blogger site is also perfect for those family members that you don't want looking at your myspace well because most of the ones I am talking about don't have one. HAHA!!

So, an update....hmmmm, well, I turned the big 3-0 in november, yeah it was a hard one for me. I just got SUPER drunk, had a wonderful time and now I am okay because well there is nothing I can do about it. My daughter, Baylee is almost ONE!!!! Are you kidding me, where did the time go. I love the stage she is at, but I WANT MY BABY BACK!!!! At least I have friends with babies newly born or on the way!!!! As for Bill and I we are doing the best we have....we've had a couple issues, but we are doing awesome! I can't even explain how much I love this man! We just recently won custody of his daughter, Kendra. BEST THING TO HAPPEN TO HER and US! Doesn't take much when the mother was pretty much "where do I sign" blah blah and blamed it on ME to our attorney, whatever dumb snaggletooth b*tch. I have my son full time except every other weekend. And of course Baylee is here too. YAY ONE BIG HAPPY FAMILY!!!!

I have also been blessed in being reconnected with some super ladies from my past. Diandra, you are awesome. I just LOVE you! You are a WONDERFUL friend. We have yet to go out adult style, but one day soon? She is always there for me. I feel I am there for her too. Another wonderful lady, Shawna, went to highschool with her and her husband, Jason. Then, after graduation and things people just grow apart. Thankfully, here we are in contact again. Such a small world to have to friends that have gone through having a "preemie". Knowing you are and weren't alone. Grows a special bond that we will have forever. I am looking for so many fun times together with our kids and being able to watch them all grow. Thank you ladies for being a part of my life!
